Privacy Policy for Shift Alarm

This privacy policy applies to the Shift Alarm mobile application (hereinafter "Application") created by Efreitor2001 (hereinafter "Developer") as an Ad-Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed to help users manage alarms for shifting work schedules.

• Local Data: All alarm settings (time, work/off days, labels, and selected melodies) are stored locally on your device using secure internal storage (SharedPreferences). The Developer does not have access to this data, and it is not transmitted to any external servers.
• Custom Melodies: If you select a custom ringtone or music file from your device, the Application only stores a local reference (URI) to that file to play it at the scheduled time.

2. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you and provide personalized advertisements. These include:

• Yandex Mobile Ads: Yandex Privacy Policy
• MyTarget (VK): MyTarget Privacy Policy

These third-party SDKs may collect your Advertising ID, device information, and approximate (coarse) location to serve relevant ads.

3. Permissions Usage

To function correctly as an alarm clock, the Application requires the following sensitive permissions:

• Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To trigger the alarm precisely at the time you set.
• System Alert Window: To show the alarm screen (AlarmActivity) over other apps or on the lock screen when the alarm triggers.
• Boot Completed: To automatically restore your active alarms after you restart your device.
• Battery Optimization: The Application may request to be excluded from battery optimization to ensure the system does not kill the alarm service while your device is sleeping.

4. Data Retention

The Application retains the alarm settings you create as long as the Application is installed. You can delete all data by clearing the Application cache or uninstalling it.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. Security

The Developer is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Since all your settings are stored locally, their security depends on the security of your mobile device.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
